Former Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Mohammad Babandede OFR, has expressed profound commendation on the birth of Migrationwatch magazine.

In an interview with the Executive Editor of the magazine Saint Michael Onoja, the visibly excited Officer of Federal Republic said the coming of the magazine was long overdue.

He said migration sector is the most neglected, saying it’s good that it shouldn’t be.

In his words” I commend your team for taking this bold step. Migration has been neglected for too long in this country despite it’s importance to National development. I’m happy, very happy to be associated with the project as Chairman and will do all it takes to sustain this idea”.

The magazine focusses wholly and solely on activities pertaining to migration and seeks to promote purposeful and profitable movements.

Migrationwatch is a publication of Migration Communications a firm that is based in Abuja, FCT.

For esse of engagement, the publication is available in three forms: a monthly hardcopy magazine, a daily online news magazine and a visual version on YouTube and Facebook.

Babandede who appeared on the cover of the maiden edition of Migrationwatch magazine urged readers to support the project by reading, subscribing and sharing while promising to sustain an enduring regime of support.

In the maiden edition captioned, “My Odyssey At Nigeria Immigration Service”, Babandede took a long and careful look into his time as comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, sharing his moments of joy, pains and regrets. He also hints on what lies ahead. You will like to also find out about his newfound migration related NGO, Sure4U Rescue and Rehabilitation
